Aquaman

Aquaman was one of those films that took hard surface modeling in a bit of a different direction than most other films I've worked on. Most of the designs had soft flowing shapes, since most of the inspiration came from sea creatures. I was able to explore some different methods and techniques to achieve the final look on the design of the translucent wings of the Stinger ship, and I applied some of the same workflows to the final design and model of it's cockpit too. Early in the show I was able to flesh out some initial designs for the Hammerhead armor, which lived on through some iterations, into the final model shown here.
