Aladdin

In 2018, I had the opportunity to work on the live action version of Aladdin. I modeled a few smaller action elements in the market chase scene, but the main model I worked on was the tall ship in the opening 2 shots of the film. This was the second time I was able to model material in the opening shot, that also happened to incorporate the Disney logo. This also meant the silhouette had to closely match the castle. This was a really fun build that took about 3 and a half weeks, with lots of creative freedom using some reference from Spanish galleons, most notably Neptune, a replica of a 17th century Spanish galleon. The lion figurehead on the front was sculpted by Joaquin Gutierrez.
